THE PRIZE

The winning entries will have their work front and center on the page, and earn themselves 4 blind boxes from our upcoming TMNT Action Vinyls.  2^nd & 3^rd place winners will also receive a TMNT blind box, and have their entry used as a cover photo as well.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Original content with your best interpretation of The Loyal Subjects aesthetic.  Tell a dynamic story, and sum it up in one picture.  

RULES

Entries must be TLS inspired using any of our action vinyls, and posted to the page. Any medium is acceptable as long as it can be posted to the cover (sketch, painting, photography, Photoshop, etc.)  The group members and administrators will determine the winners collectively by “liking” their favorites.  Every “like” is a vote, so feel free to invite your friends to join TLS Official and help give that extra boost.

Entries must be submitted before 12:00am PST November 7^th to be considered, and please remember to keep it classy.

COMIKAZE!!  AHHHH!

We're stoked to be doing Comikaze this year, (nearly) in our backyard here in Los Angeles, CA.  Do you like Stan Lee?  Check.  Do you like Halloween?  Check.  Do you like Comic Cons?  Check.  Do you like Sunny California Days?  Check.  Do you like dressing up and getting weird?  Check.  Do you like ACTION VINYLS?  Check.  Do you like to be the first kids getting their hands on TLS' TMNT Collectibles?  Check.  Do you like getting them signed by the series designer, Joe Allard?  Check.

Boom!  We have it all.  Come down, get weird, we'll get weird too and we'll have a rocking fun time at the Comikaze Expo, going from Halloween to Nov 3rd (NEXT WEEKEND)!

BOOTH #622 - see you Next Weekend!

COMIKAZE!!  Crazy like it sounds.  We popped up our little 10' x10' Shop not expecting too much; dipping the proverbial toe.  We were shocked with the turn-out.  Saturday looked like Comic-Con 12 years ago - tons of energy, great vibes, community, a ton of look-i-loos,  generally curious about what was happening.  You could feel the swell.  This show has legs and we'll be sure to stretch ours next year into a deeper shoe.  Halloween brought out the costumes?  Lol - not sure about this one - sort of the chicken before the egg.  I made the point to our Designer Joe Allard that it (Comikaze) should be good on Halloween, tons of costumes and the like and Joe promptly corrected me - "Cosplayers don't need a Holiday as an excuse to dress up."  Ha!  He was 100% right.  Cosplayers were in full effect, with those glorious and detailed costumes, the same vibe as SDCC.  Amazing the imagination on some of these fans.

Day 1 through 3 - we unveiled for public consumption our TMNT x TLS ACTION VINYLS blindbox collectibles.  Huge hit!  These little dudes are next level; 9 points of articulation, interchangeable weapons and great details and nuances, the kind you would expect from a TMNT collectibles line.  We hope you think so =)  Joe Allard was slinging ink with his paint pen, signing boxes for fans and our staff was slinging tees, Transformers, you name it!  A good time had by all!  Some of our fan familia came out - Steve from Vegas, Diana (our big G.I. Joe fan), Maryanne (tired from slugging it out from her college courses but always looking on point), the Vinyl Dead (always good to see these dudes), Buggjuice (our Intsagram buddy), some of our close friends and family and a bunch of new friends and acquaintances.  We were super hyped and stoked on the whole event.  Thank Yous go out to our licensing partners for being awesome - Hasbro, Saban and Nickelodeon =)

We'll see you guys again next year at Comikaze with Power Rangers, more Transformers, more Turtles, How To Train Your Dragon, G.I. Joe Wave 2, Mr. Potato Head, and much, much more!  

What are the two great tastes that go together?  Optimus Prime and Customizers of course!  Who wouldn't want to get some clean detailing on an alien robot leader who transforms into a Big Rig?  Pin stripes, airbrushing, the whole nine.  So in honor of our Transformers Series 2 Kickoff this week at NY Toy Fair we teamed up with the legendary Toy Tokyo to bring you an art and custom show featuring some of today's best Customizers and artists including: legendary skater Steve Caballero as well as Jonpaul Kaiser, Axis, Nemo, Etipsone, Freehand Profit, Evol, Ewok, Crash, Dave Morgan, Joshua Lamb, John Warden and much more!  Each Custom will have an original piece of art accompanying - all works are available for purchase.  There will be beverages, snacks, friends, family, artists, toy legends, Transformers as well as exclusive purchases on the Ultra Magnus blister carded figure ($15.00), Shockwave zip-up Hoodies ($65.00) and Grimlock Tees ($25.00).  Come early and hang late.  It's going to be a blast.
